Who we are

As accomplished senior industry experts with a years-long multi-market experience in pharmaceutical Market Access and people training, we strive to pass on our knowledge to our valuable clients and support them on their Market Access journey to success.

Meet the team

Daniel Nicolas Meier, Dr. med., BBA

Co-founder and Executive Director

Being a trained neurosurgeon with several years of clinical experience, Daniel switched to the Public Health sector, where he developed and implemented Integrated Care Programs addressed to patients with chronic diseases for a major Swiss health insurer.

His career in the pharmaceutical industry began as Regional Product Manager for the Central & Eastern European markets, followed by a position as Sales Manager, leading a highly motivated sales team and taking responsibility for their sales performance.

Before founding Squares d.o.o. Daniel held senior management and leadership positions in Market Access operating in Switzerland, Germany and Austria for many years. He successfully managed several product launches by applying innovative approaches from early pre-launch stages, product launch and reimbursement, to post-launch activities, using early patient access schemes, inventive pricing & contracting models and holistic treatment models, to name a few. 

Daniel's previous working expertise allows him to deeply understand the perspectives and values of clinicians, payers and government officials. This insight is crucial when developing and communicating the value proposition of a pharmaceutical product to stakeholders.     

Ivona Pavicic, M.Ed., PR Professional

As a trained educator and instructor, Ivona has gained extensive experience in personal, group and team training. Throughout her career as a lecturer she has managed to teach highly complex contents to her audiences, empowering them for their future business endeavors. 

As an accomplished Public Relations professional, with working experience in health and government institutions, as well as in the pharmaceutical industry, Ivona has planned and developed PR-strategies and campaigns for brands and organizations, identifying target audiences and creating information tailored to audience preferences. Furthermore, she handled crisis communications for her clients, and managed relevant market research and data analysis, using a wide range of media to build and sustain a positive public image for her customers and their brands.
